Hello TDE users/developers:

I am using debian/buster now since it's release.� I am also using the 
"preliminary stable builds" of TDE using the following location:

deb http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity-sb buster deps-r14 main-r14

I still have a couple of problems remaining.� Perhaps I can get this one 
fixed first.

I have set my screen to be blanked (it can be any of the options on 
configure - kdesktop).� It will not automatically blank or lock.� I can 
manually blank and lock it, and it works as expected.� Only the 
automatic method by waiting a set amount of time is not working.

How can I diagnose and fix this problem.� I have used other 
screensavers, and this is the only one that is giving me problems, and 
this is the one I prefer (from within TDE).
