Ah, I do recall years go there would be multiple sftp_kio processes running
that may be what you are describing. That should all be fixed. I'm sitting
here with kate and 18 open sftp:// connections to a web-site on my server and
no lingering sftp-kio processes anywhere. I think that problem was fixed
several years ago. (but I can see when that problem was occurring how your
provider may have flagged you for open repeat connections.)
