Or, buy a longer cable? I have one, runs 30 some feet across the basement
joists, thru the foundation and across the back door to the edge of the
back porch roof, thence strung across the back yard about 60 feet to the
peak of a shed roof and into a hub in that shed feeding 2 computers.
Been there for a bit over 12 years now including a 112 mph direcho that
did $18,000 in ppty damage. Took down 4 40 ft pine trees too, but that
cable is still there and working yet today.
