Okay, so am I to understand that you are at least able to watch a movie 
without having the power management interrupt and take over the system? Maybe 
it isn't quite what you want (yet), but you did get that dubious "feature" 
shut off? 

If we have laid that part of it to rest, then you can worry about how to 
adjust your settings later.
