OK.  Now I apologize!
I saw the image correctly in my email (groupware)
and then again in `display`.  Then I stopped.
That was sloppy of me!

So, here `kuickshow` _does_ show an all black image.

Maybe a data point:  `display` also shows the error warning:

	display: length and filesize do not match `VPS/map002.bmp'
	@ warning/bmp.c/ReadBMPImage/830.
