Yes, I would also consider running some kind of virtual machine inside my 
Devuan system, so that I could test some other distros now and then (just to 
keep my hand in, to know what's out there), but at the moment I have a lot of 
other more pressing concerns, and besides, I like my Devuan system. 

As somebody else wrote already (please pardon my faulty memory here!), 
Debian/Devuan has a rather steep learning, especially for one such as myself 
who isn't suited to technical work by either temperament or job requirements; 
but once we learn how to get it to behave as we want, we have freedom. 

Nik makes BSD sound interesting, and I would like to explore Slackware some 
more, and there are others, as well; but at the moment I don't need to change 
horses, and there is no hurry.
