Why does that matter?  No-one is forcing anyone to use TDE.  Surely, if 
someone is unhappy with TDE, leaving is the obvious thing to do.

As I have already said, I think, if anything, having lots of users who make 
demands and contribute nothing is detrimental to the project.  

A commercial enterprise needs a lot of users to earn the money they are there 
to earn.  At this stage TDE needs lots of contributors and developers.
