"Live" distros are an art all their own. For this reason, I only use the original, Knoppix, when I need a live Linux. For normal installations, openSUSE with KDE3 have always worked best for me. Now with System V init having been replaced or set for replacement, my distaste for Debian clumping of everything into only two runlevels may disappear, which in turn might lead me to a new preference. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
