When I first switched from Windoze, one of the things that stuck out to me
as much more sophisticated, convenient and adaptable about KDE was the
ability to put new windows where they interfere least with already open
windows.  I'm reminded that's still the case every time I have the
misfortune of having to use a Windows machine for some reason.  So I say,
keep Smart the default.
