The linker problem has been isolated but not fixed:
the libs that need to be linked in are libkdecore and
libqt-mt, but I cannot for the life of me get the ebuild
to actually add them to the linker line.  I've tried every
variation I can think of on append-libs, append-ldflags,
and even just setting LDFLAGS. Nothing works.  Any
ideas?
