I feel dumb. Following Google's instructions I put in CalDAV URL:
https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/<user>/events
For <user> I tried: my google username, my Google contact name, my full email
address but each time I want to reload I get a 404 from Kalendar.
(And I still run 3.5.12 so that bug in .13 doesn't bug me ;)... yet)
