All I can say is, the user's dcopserver crashed after using kdesu, as 
reported elsewhere.. I since downgraded, before noticing whether the 
startkde patch (which seems to fix a number of related bugs because 
$KDEROOTHOME was being set to user's ~) was present but could take a 
second look.
