I'm running (from lsb-release -a): Description: Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.2 (squeeze) Release: 6.0.2 Codename: squeeze and Trinity 3.5.12 I'm thinking of changing to Debian testing (aka wheezy at the moment). my sources.list contains: deb http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/debian squeeze main deb-src http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/debian squeeze main deb http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-builddeps/debian squeeze main deb-src http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-builddeps/debian squeeze main Questions: 1 Can I change to 'testing' (wheezy) and still use the existing trinity packages for 'squeeze', as above? I am, at present, quite happy with Trinity 3.5.12 2 Are there any 'unexpected consequences' of doing this? 3 If there are problems with this approach, what is a better way? cheers ant -- Sent from my linux system running Debian 6, desktop trinity-KDE.
