Sorry, my problem is not the wireless connection, but the mobile connection. I can't activate a mobile USB key on my GPRS or UMTS network, because : 1) nm-applet does not start 2) umtsmon starts, but seems not able to setup the ppp connection (I don't know why) Instead, from kde 4 session, all is working, both umtsmon and nm-applet, but - again - I can't tell the difference. As a consequence, I have to stick to Plasma (which I don't like) If I want to go to the umts net.
