Did you tried the previous version of my iso (the Nov 15, 2012) or the current one(Jan 15, 2013)?
There is no huge differences between the 2, except different icon theme, updates and the new repos already configured.

Yes, I have seen often the problem you are talking about. It comes from upstream PCLOS and I have no clue of what to do with it... This bug is present in PCLOS (only when running as a livecd) since 2010 and it seems like they did nothing for it. Strange...
