I do not know what a *.war web archive is so I can not follow your example 
but - it bother me from the very beginning, that in KDE after plugging in an 
USB stick you do not see the correct path. This behavior started long before 
Trinity in KDE but it is really nice if it could be changed.

Someone might have to do a feature request.
