I had a look at the installed packages and I can't find one that matches
"KDE4 power manager" - can you provide a package name and/or a snapshot
of the icon for comparison.

I guess I would be the first customer for anyone willing to make an icon
image recognition database - let's call it "what's that icon".

It could even do fourier analysis to cope with different scales,
contrast (for images taken of the screen with a camera), perspective
distortion...

It could also be a native desktop app - after all, the desktop manager
should know well what's drawing what to where, so a "what's this"
desktop app would maybe help out new users too.

That icon starts off as almost a speck when I log in but changes size to
what I originally posted after resuming from hibernate.
