Did you check the disks?  md5sum?  sha256sum?  It sounds to me as 
though there may be something amiss with the insatll DVDs you are 
using.  Or perhaos a hardware fault.  

I too have installed TDE on three new Wheezy systems in the recent 
past.  But I use netinstall for Debian.  I had no problems on any of 
them.  My own box I was able just to upgrade from Squeeze.  Again, no 
problems.

What does a/m mean in this context?
