Ah the wonder of KVM and downloadable live images :-) Yes, KDE3 klipper does allow editing of items in the context specific popup and, last time I was at home to use it, so did Trinity 3.5.12 klipper. Assuming you are talking of the same feature I am, if you don't have this feature any more it would seem to be a regression.
