For Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty) you can use the development version of TDE R14.
You have two options:

1) Official nightly-builds:
deb http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-nightly-build-dependencies/ubuntu trusty main
deb http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-nightly-builds/ubuntu trusty main

2) Alternative preliminary-stable-builds:
deb http://mirror.xcer.cz/trinity-sb trusty deps-r14 main-r14
