I found out the source of the problem, when I compiled my new 3.7 kernel
and run make deb-pkg the package linux-libc-dev_3.7.0-8_i386.deb
was generated and installed and it seems to be in conflict with the
packages I just mentioned. I cannot de install it because that would
severely break the whole kubuntu system.

I hope I don't have to re install in the future.
