If I click on the pdf file on their site, it opens with kpdf, I then save it with the 'save as dialog' which always defaults to /tmp..which is where the file is downloaded to before opening apparently. No matter if it is the 3rd, 10th..100th pdf downloaded and opened. As a comparison, evince will offer to 'save as' to the last directory used, very usefull when dealing with lots of pdf files..which in my line of work, is how documents are provided.... and why I asked if kpdf could be configured to save as to something other than /tmp. Adding another location to the save as dialog reduces the amount of effort...not uite what i would like to see the best option of my pdf reader client..but helpful. -- Peace, Greg
