[TDE is not TDE] (was: [trinity-users] Summer news hole filler ... or: what I miss on FreeBSD :-))

Interesting I just realized why I am using TDE. Not because of its
kde-applications (I do almost everything in Xemacs), but because

    - all the other windows managers are either bloated or using features.

    - because of the excellent control center, which made switch from
debian to Kubuntu. But when I say control center I mean the one
which is shipped by Kubuntu (as of hardy 8.04) and which somehow
survived in TDE but seems not to be a true TDE program, which
       leads me to my conclusion:

TDE is not TDE (TDE on (K)Ubuntu is not TDE on Debian etc)
