All this bruhhah about PClinuxOS has caused me to sit here a few minutes longer. I ran it on this box for about a year, but some might call me a power user. My parting of the ways was when I needed to build something for the 3rd or 4th time, but the libraries to built it were not avaiable in the repos, AND Texstar refused to add them. Net result was I installed the kit I needed in the form of a wheezy based iso put up by the linuxcnc crowd. I haven't had to do searching since as it uses the wheezy repo's except for a pinned kernel.
