Power outages longer than momentary here average about 4X-5X as long as UPS battery charge. It's been years since I enjoyed as much as 200 days uptime. UPS batteries here average little more than 802 days between need to replace them. 3 times in the past 36 months I've had them expire *during* their warranty periods. I spend more on UPS batteries and UPSes than on PCs, but in part that's because they protect the power supplies and motherboards from derelict power company service. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
