I should have tested it before answering / guessing. I don't see the problem. When I copy from Konqueror to Desktop the file shows immediately, when I delete with the context menu (right click on the file) the file disappears immediately. I'm on TDE Release R14.0.2 on Mint (Debian). But I cannot remember to have seen the described problem on an older version though. Maybe differences in settings anywhere?! Gerhard
