Again, I see nothing wrong on a general basis.
If you are root (yes, not recommended I know) there is no problem to run ksysv at all.
If you are a standard user, you type in the root password and everything works.

If your setup does not use a root password or you do not have access to such password,
you have the choice to edit the menu and remove the ksysv entry.

IMHO, the menu entry is fine as it is now since it will work as expected for the majority of the users.
Unconventional setups will need special handling for this type of problem.
