I don't have this issue, run dialog keeps focus regardless of mouse 
position.Trinity 3.5.12/Debian stable, I use 'Focus Follows Mouse' with Auto 
Raise' and a 'Delay Focus' set.

I did notice a difference between the Focus  Policies: Focus Follows Mouse, Focus 
Under Mouse, and Focus Strictly Under Mouse.  I don't understand the theory 
behind these three policies, they seem the same in my mind  but they do behave 
differently.
