I am only just finally abandoning Lenny and 3.5.10! In the ordinary way, I would have gone straight to Wheezy to avoid yet again clinging to Old Stable like grim death. But using Trinity in a stable manner is obviously more important, since this is my main desktop. (I am reusing my old case, so superficially nothing is changing!) I don't change hardware often, and aim to do a bit of future-proofing. (I built the recently ousted desktop in 2004!) but it is hopefully OK with Linux. I'll report back!! But I asked for advice, and am basically hearing what I expected. I'll go with Squeeze+backports+3.5.13.1. Thanks again, Greg and Slavek. Lisi
