Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but do we have a player for Midi 
files, native to R14, that can ( or should ) display a collection the 
size of above ?
I haven't counted them yet, ( as they are on 3 different comps ) , but 
my guess is 20.000 plus
At the moment I am using Audacious with amidi plugin
