  It might be you've been affected by a known installer bug in the first version 
of the DVD .iso.

At the end of installation, did you accepted the installer offer to do a s/w 
update *before* the post-installation re-boot?
  If so, the 'Cauldron' bug can be avoided by postponing s/w update until 
*after* the re-boot.
